3DIcon CEO Doug Freitag to Present at IDTechEx

Freitag to discuss the Company’s newly developed liquid silicon precursor, Cyclohexasilane, Si6H12 (“CHS”) and its applications within printable electronics

TULSA, OK — (Marketwired) — 10/20/16 — 3DIcon Corporation (OTC PINK: TDCP) announced today that Doug Freitag, CEO, will speak at IDTechEx, taking place in Santa Clara, California on November 16-17. Freitag’s presentation will be part of The Application of Printed, Organic and Flexible Electronics track of the IDTechEx show, and will focus specifically on liquid processable silicon precursors for printable electronics.

Freitag’s presentation will take place November 17 and will focus on a newly developed liquid silicon precursor, CHS, which can be used to make silicon-based films such as polysilicon, silicon nitride, and silicon carbide. Freitag will also discuss silicon nanowires and quantum dots (tiny particles of a semi-conducting material) and how CHS offers a more versatile, lower-cost, and safer pathway to silicon products.

Freitag will attend IDTechEx on behalf of 3DIcon and Coretec Industries LLC (Coretec), whose proprietary technology and IP portfolio of silicon-based technologies was acquired by 3DIcon as a result of the recent merger of the two companies. That portfolio, which includes CHS, has potential for immediate applications within the markets of printable electronics, energy storage, solar energy, and solid state lighting.

“I am excited to be representing 3DIcon and Coretec at IDTechEx and for the opportunity to network with the brightest minds in the field of printable electronics,” said Freitag. “I’m also looking forward to discussing CHS and the capabilities of our silicon-based technologies within printable electronics. We believe we have a truly innovative technology with multiple applications. I look forward to the feedback from the user community at IDTechEx.”

IDTechEx is a two-day executive conference featuring 250 company presentations for 3,500 attendees from more than 42 countries.
