Coretec’s Timeline

Shareholder Call Series – Part 3 Now that we have built a CHS strategy with our manufacturing partner Evonik, and a timeframe of Q4 2020 for delivery of the first batches of CHS, Coretec is focused on marketing CHS’s value to key applications and application development with our customers. To start, Coretec is focused on CHS application into Gen 2.0 Li Ion batteries and semiconductor manufacturing, and has an added push in the LED market where we see tremendous value for high intensity lighting, technical agriculture and UV-LEDs for Covid-19 and microbial decontamination. While every application has different timing all contribute to building a commercialization timeline. After receiving a CHS sample most customers take, on average, approximately six months to develop initial prototypes and finalize the design before assessing production volumes. Once that is finalized it will take 6 to 12 months to build a product launch schedule and ramp to production volumes.  The next six months for us will be dedicated to customer evaluation of CHS and marketing at large trade shows including Semicon West, The Battery Show North America, and more. After that will be another six months of application development, depending on the application. Finally, in 2021 to 2022, our customers will give us decisions on manufacturing and what kind of volume they would want for CHS supply.  To learn more about Coretec’s timeline, please see page three of the July 2020 shareholder call transcript.
