3DIcon Well-Positioned as Interest Grows for Cyber Technologies

Company Submits Proposal to Air Force as Market Opportunity Grows for Technologies to Combat Cyber Terrorism

TULSA, OK -- (Marketwired) -- 04/16/15 -- 3DIcon Corporation (OTC PINK: TDCP), a developer of 3D volumetric display technologies that are designed to produce 360-degree volumetric high-resolution images, commented today on what it perceives to be a significant market opportunity for 3D visualization technologies for use by government agencies and military organizations.

A recent article from National Defense, the National Defense Industry Association (NDIA)'s Business and Technology magazine, titled "Defense Technology At a Crossroads: Can the Pentagon Regain Its Innovation Mojo?," highlights the government's commitment to seeking options for combating cyber terrorism. According to the article, "One of the Pentagon's most glaring technology gaps is in big data analysis to process overwhelming amounts of video and other intelligence." 3DIcon believes that its technology, once brought to scale, will transform large amounts of data into human-centered 3D visualizations, which can assist cyber operators in interpreting massive amounts of raw data. Once transformed and interpreted, this data can be used to effectively combat cyber terrorism used to attack military resources, divulge private information, and other means of harm against the U.S. and its allies.

Recently, 3DIcon announced that it had submitted a proposal to the Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program in cooperation with a leader in the development of human centric cyber analyst software tools. The proposal is for the development of a 3D visualization/interface for use by Air Force cyber analysts based on 3DIcon's glasses-free 3D volumetric display, CSpace ®, in addition to other affiliated technologies.

"We are pleased with the federal government's commitment to adopting innovative technologies used to challenge cyber terrorists who wish to harm us by accessing and manipulating our information," said Doug Freitag, VP of Technology and Business Development, 3DIcon. "We
believe that 3DIcon's CSpace® and affiliated technologies offer a dynamic solution to the challenge of accumulating and interpreting the necessary data to identify and combat potential threats. As we pursue the recently filed proposal to the Air Force, we will continue to seek market opportunities that benefit the Company in terms of funding, while providing a valuable solution for both current and future cyber anti-terrorism efforts."
